A funny looking rash!!!

Como bien saben algunos de ustedes yo me estoy especializando en la piel... dermatología! 

A mi me encanta recibir fotos en el iphone y ayudar a quien pueda desde la distancia.  Algunos que me leen quizás saben a lo que me refiero ;-p y por el juramento de Hipocrates jamas los delatare. Sus rashes y la localización de los mismos quedaran guardados en mi mente y nadie nunca lo sabrá. 

Anyway, el día que mi hermana me envío un texto diciendo: "puedes chequearte un rash" yo respondí: "pues claro". Ella sabe que una foto vale mas que mil palabras así que ...

AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Eso es POSITIVOOOO!!!!! dije yo y ella respondió: me parece que si. 

Era tanta la emoción que podia escuchar su sonrisa! 

En promedio una mujer gasta 3-4 pruebas de embarazo antes de convencerse así misma que es POSITIVO. 

Las razones no las discutiremos porque son muchas y varían :-) 

La prueba detecta una hormona (hCG) que se secreta cuando se implanta el embrión. Osea que aproximadamente en 10-12 días usted puede saber si tiene un bebe formandosele adentro ;) Si por alguna razón necesita respuestas mas rápidas existe otra prueba que lo detecta en 48 horas (EPF). Esta es mucho mas cara así que quizás le conviene ahorrarse el dinerito por si le sale positivo.  Y si tiene un resultado positivo seria buena idea que se valla alegrando... estas pruebas tienen una sensitividad de hasta 97.8%. Si la primera y la segunda son positivas es muy probable que la prueba no le halla salido mala. 

Y así con esta foto, de este supuesto rash, me entere yo desde MN que seria titi! 

Creen ustedes que esta es la primera foto de Alinna? 

Deberiamos enmarcarla? 

Que viva la tecnología y que nos sirva para diagnosticar muchos otros rashes!

A las 7 semanas y el embrión se convierte en feto. Se le cae la cola y el corazón le late. Es en esta etapa cuando comienza a coger forma de humano.

I love receiving pictures of rashes and skin lesions on my iphone and offer a little help from faraway. Some perhaps know what I mean ;-p and by the oath of Hippocrates I shall never reveal your names, your rashes or your rashes locations. They will be forever be in my mind and no one will ever know.

Anyway, the day my sister sent me a text saying "Can you check a rash" I said, "Sure." She knows that a picture is worth a thousand words and sent me this... 

AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! That's Positive!! I said and she replied: I think so!

 There was so much emotion that I could hear her smile!

On average a woman spends 3-4 pregnancy tests before convincing herself that it is indeed positive. I will not discussed the reasons why because it will be a long post ;-) 

This test detects a hormone (hCG), which is secreted when the embryo is implanted. In approximately 10-12 days after conception you can tell if you are pregnant. If you ever need faster responses there another test that only takes 48 hours (EPF). This is much more expensive, it might be wise to save the extra money just in case is positive.  These tests have a sensitivity of up to 97.8%, so you can probably start celebratig as soon as you get a + one. If the first and second are positive it is likely that the test is not gone bad.
